The Last Ship Washington, D.C. - Important Coronavirus Update...

In light of the evolving coronavirus situation in Washington, D.C. and in conformance with the citywide ban on gatherings of 250 people or more, Sting starring in The Last Ship, originally scheduled for March 27-April 5, 2020, will not play as planned. Instead, we are working to reschedule The Last Ship for a yet-to-to-determined future date. All tickets purchased through the National Theatre Box Office and Etix will remain valid for the future engagement of The Last Ship once rescheduled.

Sting recorded a laid-back cover of Otis Redding’s “(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay.” The release marks the first installment of the Alzheimer’s Association’s “Music Moments,” a project where artists tackle songs they appreciate on an emotional level. Throughout the track, Sting whistles and croons over an acoustic guitar and soft waves of brass. At the direction of the City of San Francisco's mandate to ban events larger than 1,000 people across the city, all BroadwaySF productions at the Orpheum and Golden Gate Theatres will be canceled beginning this evening (which includes tonight's performance of 'THE LAST SHIP' at 7:30PM) through Wednesday, March 25.
